About

The thoughts that keep you up don't always need an audience. They just need somewhere to go.

My Brain at 2 AM started as a simple question: where do you put the thing you'd never actually say to someone's face? Not a text. Not a journal only you'll read. Somewhere in between — anonymous, but not alone.

How it works

Three steps. No sign-up. Nothing sent to the person it's about.

i.

Name who it's for

A first name, a nickname, an initial — whatever you'd call them if they were in the room. Or nobody at all.

ii.

Choose a color

Pick from the palette or set your own — whatever color this feeling is, to you. It becomes the whole note.

iii.

Pin it and let go

Once it's posted, it can't be edited or taken down. It joins the Wall exactly as you wrote it, next to everyone else's.

Why anonymous

Because the point was never who wrote it.

The second a name is attached, people start editing themselves — softening it, explaining it, making it presentable. Nobody needs to know it was you for it to be true. So nothing here is tied to an account, a login, or a name. Just the words and the color you gave them.

Why permanent

Because most of these were never going to be said twice.

Entries can't be edited or deleted once they're posted. That's on purpose — this isn't a draft, it's the moment you finally put it down. If you're not ready for that kind of permanent, sit with it a little longer before you post.
